  2. You can also provide your name and indicate specific subjects you want to receive emails about but this is optional.

  1. We use your email address to send you our e-newsletter and your name, if provided, to personalise the newsletter you receive.

  2. We use your subject preferences to ensure you receive content that is of interest and relevant to you or your organisation.



What we do with it

  1. We only use your details to provide the service, monitor the impact of our work and improve the newsletter.

  2. You will receive a welcome email once you have submitted your details. We send one monthly newsletter and occasional updates when there is big news or a project event to share.



Tracking

  1. We use tracking technologies such as tracking pixels in some of our emails. These are set on our behalf by EmailOctopus (our email service provider) and help us to understand how you interact with those emails, and we use that information to improve how we use email to promote our products and services.



How long we keep it

  1. Contact profile. Keep for maximum 6 months after last action (when Prospect Brixham stops sending its e-newsletter).

  2. E-newsletter analytics. Keep for maximum 2 years after last action.



What are your rights?

  1. We rely on your consent to process your contact details and interest preferences. This means you have the right to withdraw your consent, or to object to the processing of your personal data for this purpose at any time. If at any point you want to withdraw your consent you can unsubscribe via the link or email us privacy@prospectbrixham.org and we’ll update our records to reflect your wishes.

Where is data stored?

  1. EmailOctopus (our email service provider) is a UK based company. Data is stored in the EU region, hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS). For more information, please see EmailOctopus GDPR statement

  2. Our website hosting and data server is based in the UK.
